I decided to do Eaglebeak 2 when I was playing the original a couple
of weeks ago, you know, kinda feelin proud of myself for this beautiful course
Matt and me made (It was our first) when my eyes actually opened and I thought
to myself, This Sucks!!! I immediately got into working night and day on this
new project, smoothing out the contours of some fairways, working on object
placement, and just about as my friend Matt describes "Tearing the whole thing
apart." If you've been unlucky enough to actually have played the original,
you will agree that it needed an immense amount of work, and that it got.
I worked more on this Eaglebeak than I did on the original.

I didn't do much work on actually designing the objects or background
because like many other novice designers on JNSE, I steal everything from other
people. I just don't have the patience to sit down in front of the computer
and design those things. Also, I find it easier to just press a few buttons
and have a whole collection of objects and a beautiful background then just
sit there for 5-10 hours and design my own.

But, getting back to the redesigning of Eaglebeak, on some of the holes
which I totally tore apart (7,10,11,17) I was stuck for ideas, and I got them
from some of the other quality courses I have. Hole 1's new design came from
Jeff Lively's Torsby Lake, holes 7, 11, and 17 came from Brian Silvernail's
beautiful courses Rolling Evergreen and Saguraro Canyon, and hole 8 was based
on hole 3 at Scott Chesney's cool rendition of Pebble Beach. I would like to
thank these guys for their excellent courses and awesome ideas.

Now here's a hole by hole description of the changes on Eaglebeak V2.

Hole 1: A better contoured fairway, and more hills make this a heckuva lot more
	challenging than the original.

Hole 2: I really made some changes on the fairway shape of this hole, it's more
smooth and a lot more hilly than before.

Hole 3: Not many changes made to this one. The main change was the whole new
placement of the objects, which I did to every hole.

Hole 4: This hole had bites taken out of the fairway on the original, I smoothed
that out and did some hill work.

Hole 5: I kept the same basic idea on this hole, really only the object work
	was changed.

Hole 6: I had to keep the same theme on this hole because Matt wouldn't let
me change it, but it's a lot more smooth.

Hole 7: If you've seen the old hole 7, you'll never recognize this one. It's
really close to Hole 18 at Rolling Evergreen.

Hole 8: You can easily see the similarities to hole 3 at Pebble on this one.

Hole 9: Really kind of the dullest hole on the course, just did a little hill
	work.

Hole 10: My personal favorite hole at Eaglebeak, you'll just have to see this
	 one.

Hole 11: Another totally changed hole, this one after some other hole at Evergreen.

Hole 12: Did some fairway shaping and some hill work, but it's still a birdie
	 oppurtunity not to be missed.

Hole 13: Won't see many changes on this one, just a little touch up.

Hole 14: A few more bunkers, not much else.

Hole 15: A dual fairway, but a little harder than before for you pros.

Hole 16: Another solid par three, totally did the hills all over again.

Hole 17: The last of the 3 Silvernail-based holes, plays a little easier than
	 the other ones.

Hole 18: Almost no changes made to this awesome finishing hole, but it's just
a bit easier than before for all you babies who couldn't take it
	 before.

Even though you probably didn't read the hole by hole changes, maybe
you should, it could help you play mighty Eaglebeak. I hope you enjoy playing
the new course, I know I had fun tearing it apart. You may upload this course
to any BBS you would like to, all I ask is that you keep it in its original
form. I would love to hear any comments, criticisms, ridicules, or anything
else you could think of about this course. Thanks for playing.
