[This is a flight plan for flying from Puerto Rico to Miami]
The entire flight will take you at most 2 hrs. 30 min, depending on
   the type aircraft you fly.

               ********* PUERTO RICO - MIAMI *********

San Juan Int'l to Miami Int'l via Grand Turk, Providenciales and Bimini.

    1) Boot FS4 with the PR-START.MOD as your default startup mode
(see instructions in PR.TXT <Note about Startup Mode> section.

    2) Position your aircraft on San Juan Int'l using the supplied mode.
Change the aircraft at this time if you want to.
(If you are placed over water, please load manually the
PR-CNTER.SC1. which is the main scenery of PRCAR3).

Do NOT load SD-7 yet, or you may experience a
"teleporter" effect that will put you somewhere
off the west coast of Florida (!)

    3) Set "Auto Load Static Scenery" to OFF.

    4) Tune your VOR 1 to San Juan on 114.0 and your ADF to 232.
(You are approximately 321 miles from Grand Turk.)

    5) Check ATIS on 125.80, then taxi to Runway 8 or 10,
run your check list, and take off. (Use caution in re the
       traffic on the taxiways.)

    6) On departure head 300 degrees to intercept the San Juan 308
radial. Take a look out the left side to see the beautiful area
       you're leaving.

    7) Climb & maintain 6000 to clear arriving aircraft
(remember to maintain 250 Knots below 10,000)

    8) At 20 miles out climb & maintain FL 310 (or your preferred
       altitude).

    9) As soon as you lose the SJ VOR signal load the PR-BAHAM.SC1
        (not SD-7 yet).

   10) Tune the Grand Turk VOR on 114.2. You'll get the NDB signal
before the VOR....when you get it track it.

   11) When in range of the VOR signal, intercept the 308 radial to remain
       within the airway.

*** You could land on Grand Turk island if you want ***
*** to or continue onward to Providenciales ***
*** (head to 387 NDB and descend to 2000) ***

    12) When you are over the VOR tune to Providenciales NDB 387.
Maintain the 308 heading away from the VOR station. (Don't
fly to the Providenciales NDB--this is used only as an alternate
navaid, and the needle will swing to the left.)

*** You could land on Providenciales if you ***
*** want to or continue onward to Bimini ***

    13) When your ADF needle points backward, tune and head for the
Stella Maris NDB on 320. (This is the longest part of our trip
...so be patient...or, jump into "Hyperspace" <slew mode>).

    14) When over the NDB station turn to a new heading of 274, and tune to
        Nassau VOR 112.7.

    15) After a long time you'll have the Nassau VOR signal. Head toward
it. (You could use slew mode to get the signal faster; but
        maintain the 274 heading).

    16) At 80 miles DME Nassau, Load SD-7...Then at 40
miles DME load Mike Barrs' excellent Miami area
static scenery (FLSMB). SD-7 and this file blend
        together perfectly in this area.

*** You should see Abaco Island, where ***
*** Congo Town, Bahamas is located, soon! ***

     17) Cross the Nassau VOR station and maintain your heading. Then
at 30 miles out tune Bimini VOR on 116.7 and at the signal
         fly direct to it.

     18) 60 miles DME Bimini? Descend and Maintain 12000.

     19) At 23 miles DME Bimini tune to Biscayne VOR on 117.1 and
fly direct to it. You could also tune Keyes NDB 248 at this
time. (This one will point to the area where the Miami
         Int'l Airport is located.)

     20) At 15 miles DME Biscayne cut the power to reduce your speed
to 250 Knots. <<You are supposed to descend to 3000 as soon
as you reach the indicated speed>>>

     21) When you cross the station, turn to a heading of 270 and fly
FROM the station on this heading, continuing your descent.

     22) Keep the needle centered on 270...and prepare for an ILS approach
to Runway 9R at Miami Int'l.

     23) At 30 miles out turn right heading 030. Tune your VOR 1 to the ILS
         frequency, 110.9

     23) Pick up the ILS needle ....and you are clear to land.

     24) Contact the tower. Radar service is terminated. Good day.
