Interception- Me262 and He162
As you fly yet another Combat Air
Patrol mission over Germany, you receive
a perturbing radio broadcast:
"ACHTUNG! B-17s' sighted!", screams
the radioman. "You are our only hope! An
immense aerial armada of Flying
Fortresses has been detected. We have NO
fighters available for interception.",
says the ground personnel to you and
your wingman, who is flying a
Salamander.
"We do not expect you to defeat them
all.", the Kommandant says to you.
"However, try you best as a German and a
soldier to damage or destroy as many as
possible. You are wolves in a flock of
sheep; they have no escorting fighters.
But beware of the twelve machine guns!"
You glide in to intercept the huge, if
not unusual looking formation of B-17s'.
You are not detected until the last
second. Your heart filled with courage,
as likewise is your wingman's, you open
the throttle of your dual engines in
your green shark of the sky, and head
towards the heavy, lumbering, gargantuan
bombers.
