This file contains techniques for cheating at Ultima VI. Once you
have read them, the temptation to use them can be VERY strong. Do NOT
read this unless you have solved it, or are truly stuck.

Alt cheat - holding down ALT, type the following codes on the number pad,
then release the ALT key.

213 - shows and overhead view of the area, like a gem of View spell. Also, a
long sequence of numbers and letters will be printed. Here is what they mean.

XXXYYYZUUUUUUUUUUUUKK

XXX, YYY, and Z are your curren XYZ coordinates, in hexidecimal. See below.

U - unknown.

KK - your karma. This is a number from 00 to 99 that shows if youv'e been a
good little Avatar or not - the higher, the better. I don't think this has
any direct bearing on the game; you can win even with a 00 karma. When you
first talk to the gargoyle seer, he says he can see from your aura that
you have been good or bad. I have heard vague rumors that if a natural eclipse
occurs when you are wearing the Amulet of Submission and your karma is bad,
you get sacrificed. Let me know if you find out anything about this.

214 - asks you for X, Y, and Z coordinates, and teleports you there! X and Y
are 3 - digit hexidecimal numbers. Z = 0 is Brittannia, 1-4 are dungeon
levels, and 5 is the Gargoyle Underworld. Note; I have heard rumors that
using this screws up the game. I recommend you copy the SAVEGAME directory
before doing this.

215 - 1 hour passes.

British in a bag; put a container next to Lord British, and move him into it!
Whenever the party is running low on hit points, drop the bag next to you,
and look at it. Lord British will emerge. Talk to him and ask him to HEAL the
party, then move him back into the bag!

Supercheat! Talk to Iolo. Say SPAM 3 times, then say HUMBUG. Shazam! Here you
can change flags, get any item in the game by typing in the number, view all
the character portraits, get a horse, and other things.
