COMMENTS:

This setup is good for 240+ qualifying runs at Michigan. The replay nailed
down a 241.843. Although this setup is not the fastest, it is the most
consistent for me. From the 30 or so setups I have for Michigan, I chose
this one to post because of its high "Driveability" factor. In other words
it steers nice and is slightly forgiving. I guess the whole world will be
doing 240's after this. Hummm, is that a good thing?

ENVIRONMENT:

- My old cheap joystick...
- LolaT3-Buick Technically, no LolaT3-Menard(Buick) particpated at MIR
in '93 but I have the LolaT2-Buick doing low 241's.
- All details turned on.
- No wind
- 32 opponents @107%. I use 107% to get them close to 234, '93 pole.
- 80deg, should probably be 90-100.
- engine 999max, others default. Doesn't seem to make any difference.
- 15 frames/sec
If I left out anything let me know.

OBSERVATIONS:

With no wings I'm careful on pit row. I don't worry about the engine lite
"Detroit Iron" can tolerate small doses of torture and even keeps pulling.
I stay as low as you can, however if the tires start that howling as opposed
to that sweet singing sound, I'll drift up a little, and can still get a 240.

FINALLY:

I still can't find a good way around Michigan so I would be interested in
hearing from some others. If you try this setup let me know how it feels,
with some feedback I think I can make it faster.
