KAMMUBER LINE

Just as radar helped defend Britain
early in the war, the Germans had
developed their own system. The line
of radar stations was known as the
Kammuber Line named for General
Kammuber the man in charge. This radar
network warned the Germans of
incomming raids and allowed fighters
to wait on the ground to avoid
wasting precious aviation fuel.

This mission simulates what it might
have been like had the Go229 gotten
to the front lines as projected early
on in its design.

               Mission Orders

Scramble into the air. Locate and
destroy the bombers that are enroute
to a nearby target. Be on your guard
indications show that this group is
being escorted by enemy fighters.
