To Install MAXIMUM DEATH for DOOM II or HERETIC 

1. Insert your MAXIMUM DEATH cd rom into your cd-rom drive.

2. Goto your cd rom drive root directory (ie, d:\)

3. Type INSTALL

4. At the MAXIMUM DEATH install screen follow the directions
   and enter the proper information.

5. MAXIMUM DEATH is now installed in your DOOM II OR 
   HERETIC directories.

To Run MAXIMUM DEATH 

1. Goto the DOOM II or HERETIC directory.

2. Type in the word "MAX" then press the enter key.

3. When you are asked for the letter of your CD-ROM drive
   enter only the letter for example  D  if it is D:

4. You may click on the help button on each screen and then 
   print.   This is the manual to use with the program.

   Note: You must have a properly installed mouse with a
         DOS driver installed.

TROUBLESHOOTING ADDENDUM

If you require Technical assistance to run MAXIMUM for DOOM or HERETIC
please read the help screens or you may call the Help line as listed 
on the paper insert.

Here are some notes on some common problems:

I can see the install screen and do the install but MAXIMUM DEATH does
not run ????.

      -Type in max at the DOOM II or HERETIC directory
      -This product will not work with the norton smartdrive.
      -Do not use QEMM or EMM386.
      -You need more than 530 K bytes of memory to run, check
       you avalable memory

My mouse will not work ????

        -You must have and use a MOUSE with this product.  The 
         DOS mouse driver must be installed.

The MAXIMUM DEATH menu comes up but there is no information on the 
Levels menu ????.

        -Make sure the MAXIMUM DEATH CD_ROM is in your CD-ROM 
         drive.  

The MAXIMUM DEATH disk will not install

        -Call Qualtiy help at 612-893-0903 for a new disk
