Black Shadow Software takes no responsibility for any damage caused by using TWILIGHT WARRIOR or any of its composite parts. * Installing Twilight Warrior * First, extract all files from LEGCY126.ZIP directly into your Doom2 directory (usually C:\DOOM2), unless of course you already have a copy of Doom Legacy (v1.25 or v1.26) installed on your machine. Doom Legacy is copyright (c)1998 Denis Fabrice & Boris Pereira If you are installing Legacy for the first time, we recommend that you play Legacy a few times and check that it works to your satisfaction before moving on to the next step. It will probably save you some time if you carefully read the Legacy documentation (also included in the zip) Next, place all the remaining files from TWILIGHT.ZIP into your Doom2 directory. Okay, now you're almost ready to rock. Exit to DOS (or the Win95 / 98 equivalent of DOS). Change to your Doom2 directory and type TWILIGHT.BAT To play a co-op or deathmatch game using a serial cable or modem, you will need to get the HX8 utility. This is because SERSETUP doesn't work with Doom Legacy. You can get HX8 from the Doom Legacy homepage, or off ftp.cdrom.com We've never tried a network or internet game, so we recommend you read the doc files provided in Doom Legacy zip and/or visit the Doom Legacy home page for more information. Extra multiplayer utilities (Such as HX8 and Doomatic) can be found here: http://www.frag.com/doomlegacy/ While Legacy technically allows up to 32 player network games, Twilight Warrior only supports 4 player co-ops or deathmatches. Deathmatch starts have been included, but none of the maps have been designed nor tested in deathmatch mode. If you have any problems playing, please try to ascertain whether the problem relates to Legacy itself (the new engine) or to the Twilight Warrior add-on bits themselves. For instance, if you've never played Legacy before, but you just unzip everything into your Doom2 dir and the game crashes, it will be difficult to tell whether you're having a problem with the Legacy engine per se, or some conflict with the additional Twilight Warrior files.
