Surprize.wad


This is a highly edited version of episode 1, level 1.  Just about everything

in the level has been altered in one way or another.  There are new rooms

added, lifts, added monsters, crushing ceilings, raising floors, you name it.


While you may be tempted to load your cheats and just blast everything in sight

you will be missing a lot of fun.  The level is tough, but it is designed so

that it can be beaten without using any cheats.  Try it, you'll like it.


All the weapons, including a BFG-9000 are in there somewhere.


Well, on to finishing the sequel, surpriz2, a very large, totally made from

scratch level that will be awesome.

To play this level, copy or unzip it to your DOOM directory & enter:

                     doom -file surprize.wad

When DOOM starts begin a new game in episode one - This level defaults to

ultra-violent only!  If you want to try it as a NIGHTMARE level you can add

the -respawn parameter.

You will definately need cheats if you play in NIGHTNARE MODE.
