Doom Color Patches by Michael Goldman (Shadow Games) These will change the colors on Doom 3D. They are all in .WAD format. Only the game screen will be affected; the status bar will be its normal colors. If you get a berserk pack or radiation suit, or get damaged, the screen will tint normally the new colors, but not the Invulnerability Artifact, which will have no visible effect. Blur Artifacts work the same. These were generated thru simple QBasic programs. The first two only took a few minutes, but the grayscale colormap took hours to make. I had to find the right approach and then debug it. The other shades came after that. NOSOURCE.WAD: Turns off light sourcing - sorta like the light-amp goggles. I call it "Wolfenstein Mode". INSANE.WAD: A bunch of random colors. GRAYS.WAD: This changes the graphics to grayscale. Also turns off light sourcing. Doesn't work perfectly but it works a lot better than I expected. REDS.WAD: Same as GRAYS.WAD only red. ORANGEBRN.WAD: Like the gray and red patches, but with orange/brown colors instead.
