NOTE: THE PROGRAM ALTERS YOUR DOOM.EXE FILE. *KEEP A BACKUP IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG, OR BETTER YET, PUT THIS PATCH IN ITS OWN SEPERATE DIRECTORY WITH A COPY OF DOOM* Sorry to shout, but I don't want someone to cry at me if something goes horribly wrong and it eats your only copy of DOOM. **** NODEATH.DEH is a patch that makes all enemies dissappear when killed, including the monsters on the last levels(though this can be changed easily enough) The net effect is that since the monsters don't technically "die", you can run a game on NIGHTMARE in 1.2 and not have monsters respawn! Finally, you can run UV speed and the registered version, with the same effect as the -fast switch in 1.6! ***changes*** Edited deathframes for everything but the player to zero. My original goal was to not have a deathframe, and just dissapear, but for players to be able to reappear/respawn due to the incredible slowdown from too many dead in deathmatch play. While this didn't have the desired effect, it DOES allow me to play registered 1.2 at Nightmare level without respawn. Still trying to make players in deathmatch respawn but not leave a corpse visually or in memory somewhere. *** Thanks to DEHACKED and DMAUD - both great programs!
