CONTENTS
Welcome to your biggest BOOM ever! This CD-ROM contains more than 2000 all unique Levels for DOOM 1 + 2, PLUS the majority of Editors, Patches, Menus and Shells, Cheats and other fun stuff, currently available as Shareware. 
The CD contains 4 directorys with structure following:
[WADS] contains all levels sortet Deathmatach, Episodes and single Levels.
[MENU] contains the menu you´re still runing now.
[PROGRAM] contains utilities, sound and level editors
[DOOM3GEN] contains a Converter which generates a new doom3.exe which allows to play all Levels for version one and two without changing the engine.

Our MENU-SYSTEM (which will only run under WINDOWS) shows you a screenshot and gives a more or less detailed description (unfortunately only in german, sorry folks...) of each episode/Level. Each level should work in NET- and MULTIPLAYER-MODE as well as in DEATHMATCH, of course this has NOT been thoroughly tested (what did YOU think? 2000 levels... PHEW!), so don't blame US if it doesn't...!   

USAGE

Run the Converterprogramm in the [doom3gen] directory by typing doom3gen.exe. This starts generating a new doom3.exe out of the two exe.files of the Version 1 and 2.

Converting the doom 1 and 2 levels

To prepare the levels for the usage with the new doom3.exe take the following syntax:

dm2conv <name of the level to convert> <name of the new level> /1

example: dm2conv 666.wad 666new.wad /1

This program changes automatically textures not available and sets the new level to the fist mission. so theres no more boring run through old rooms and no more crasches because of missing textures.

When invoking DOOM from the command-line, you've got to append the desired PWAD typing in something like this:
"DOOM3.EXE -file path<name of the wnated level>
You DON'T have to copy each and every WAD to your DOOM directory, as long as you specify the FULL path (which certainly is annoying...!).

As mentioned above, we could not really test every single level, so in case you get stuck in a level without exit, or if anything else happens, simply warp yourself to another mission, typing "IDCLEVxy", details on cheating like this may be found under CHEATS in the menu!
