These files may be used provided you do not alter them in any way.

Included in this ZIP are:
DEMOE2M9.LMP // demo of episode 2 mission 9 skill level 4
RECDEMO.BAT // Batch file to create demos
PLAYDEMO.BAT // Batch file to play demos
LISTDEMO.BAT // Batch file to list demos you have
README.TXT // This file (but you already know that...)

These files should be unzipped with PKUNZIP ver 2.04g or later
and should be unzipped into your doom directory.

To record a demo using RECDEMO.BAT:

Format is: RECDEMO [episode] [level] [skill]
Example: To record a demo of episode 2 level 9 (secret level) at
          skill level 4 (ultra-violent)
          RECDEMO 2 9 4

To play a demo using PLAYDEMO.BAT:

Format is: PLAYDEMO [episode] [level] [skill]
Example: To play the demo created in the RECDEMO example...
          PLAYDEMO 2 9 4

To get a directory of all demos you have made:

Format is: LISTDEMO

***** NOTES *****
1) You must record a demo before you can play it back!
2) You must have the REG version to record or play a demo of episodes 2 & 3!
3) When you start making your demo you will only have a pistol and a prayer!
4) When making demo's without these batch files do not name them in the
following format: E1M9, E2M4, E3M2, etc. I think that when the .LMP file
is merged with the DOOM.WAD file it creates problems. Maybe the built-in
demos are named E1M9, E2M4, etc.
