FRuiT's not so innovative use of DMGRAPH provides seamless edits and superb graphics (almost) for the ULTIMATE DOOM experience. Your life is now complete with the addition of FRuiTDooM to your DOOM lineup. TO RUN FRuiTDooM: Just type FRUIT! QUESTIONS? Will I be able to recover my original graphics? -Of course! FRuiT has a remove program, so you can type: FRUIT (doomdir) R to recover your original graphics. Will FRuiTDooM overwrite existing backup files if I have other graphics installed? -NO! The use of DMGRAPH ensures this, as DMGRAPH will NOT overwrite existing files. Your backups are safe. However, if you have other files in the names of the normal backup format in a GRAFX directory already, You should move them before installing FRuiTDooM. If you have another graphics patch installed, FRuiT will overwrite the graphics that FRuiT uses. When you remove FRuiT, though, the graphics you had installed will reappear. ALWAYS remove your graphics patches in the reverse order of installing them, as this ensures the remove sequences to work properly. Give it to all your friends. Be warned, though, that FRuiTDooM is a GRAPHICS patch. Those happy-looking pineapples aren't any more friendly! NOTE TO DEATHMATCH / CO-OP PLAYERS: Many deathmatch and co-op players have at one time or another run into a CONSISTENCY FAILURE. This is caused by different versions of DOOM, Different WADs loaded, or something else not CONSISTENT with both DOOMs. FRuiTDooM will NOT cause one of these. Only one side NEEDS to have FRuiTDooM installed. It is really up to the individual player. If you are getting a failure, be assured that FRuiTDooM is NOT causing it.
