PrePrePrerelease of a more friendly doom editor.

Runs under Windows. Should need very little documentation. Probably needs
lots. Next version, it'll be much better...

To install,

1. You need VBRUN300.DLL in your \windows\system directory.
2. Move *.vbx and *.dll into your \windows\system directory.
3. Run geddit.exe from Windows and load up a wad file.

Allows wall editing, object editing and movement, (Only works on some of
the levels I'm afraid) Lots of bugs. It should not touch your DOOM.WAD file.
(Well, it's never touched mine)

To allow it to run on slower machines (like mine) I have disabled the auto-
matic refresh. If you want to refresh the map, just resize it a bit and it
will refresh itself. This may seem like a pain but once you get used to it
it's much better than the thing refreshing itself needlessly.

NOTE: You can load up any wad file but the save option is only enabled when
you load in the registered DOOM wad. So buy that original now!

ALSO NOTE: You can run DOOM in a DOS box and edit your level at the same
time.

1. Extract a level from doom into a wad file.
2. Run doom with the -file parameter (eg. doom -file geddit.wad)
3. Fiddle with and save the level from the editor,
4. Go back to the running doom and make it reload the level parts of the WAD
file. (By New Game or Loading a game saved on the previous level and
   activating the lift)
5. View your new level.
6. Goto step 2

This allows you to do your designing in the place it really counts, DOOM.

(8MB needed (at least) to run DOOM and the editor at the same time. Also,
don't run the SHARE program in your DOS startup)

Coming soon:
Texture selection instead of just typing them in,
        Floor + Ceiling Texture changes
        Secret editing
Wall movement (Eek. This looks nasty but I'm getting there)
        Lots of other stuff.

e-mail for suggestions, comments, questions,
flames for not documenting it properly (or indeed at all), etc.
