| Please wait until the Dxpedition has ended before sending your cards. 1)Please show full details (date, time in UTC, band, mode and report) of all the QSO's you wish to have confirmed in a single application. Applications asking for confirmation of "all the QSO's in the log for me" will be returned un-answered. 2) Please include a self addressed envelope of at least C6 size. If I have to write out your address on a blank envelope, then I may make a mistake and you won't get your card. Self addressed labels are not welcome. 3) Always fold the C6 envelope in half along the long side and place the fold at the bottom of your envelopes. If you do not do this then many return envelopes are cut in half when I open them. 4) Use only international reply coupons or US $1 bills to pay for return postage. Euro coins and other low value currency notes are not accepted in the U.K. banks and CANNOT be excahnged for postage. 5) If you wish me to use U.K. mint stamps to pay for your return postage, then please remember that postage rates change regularly. If you do not use mint stamps and are not sure of the correct value, then please send them loose. Any surplus can then be used for bureau postage etc.... 6) Current postage from the U.K. to continental Euraope is 38 pence for 20 grams and to the rest of the world is 47 pence for 10 grams. Postage charges increase dramatically after these weights have been exceeded. 7) As a guide, each QSL will contain the data of up to three QSO's. One QSL card together with an airmail weight envelope weighs just less than 10 grams. 8) Please ensure that you enclose sufficent return postage or your cards may be returned via surface mail or via the bureau. 9) Ensure that your IRC's are properly stamped in the left hand box by the issuing office. Better still, use US $1 bills! 10) Do not make applications for more than one station in a single envelope and only send one SAE. Not only does it take me longer to proccess multiple applications, but I may be waiting for logs and/or cards for one station with the result that all of your cards are delayed. 11) As an alternative to requesting your cards direct, you can send your full QSO details (date, time, in UTC, band, mode and report) to me by the e-mail request form and I will reply via the bureau. 12) You can also send your card to me via the bureau in the traditional manner. However, please remember that the bureau system takes a very long time to process cards and you should expect a delay of anything upwards of two years before you recieve your DX station's card. 73, Phil Whitchurch.
