My quote I choose was; I am no athlete-but at one sport that I used to be an expert. It was a dangerous game called "jumping to conclusions." To me this quote says many things that I like. Many people have this problem and they sometimes get out of control with it. Why we have this problem I do not know. Basically we have no way of fixing it.
When I say that we can not control jumping to conclusions I mean by several things. The first thing is even before the year 2000 came we were jumping to conclusions that might have not even been problem. One thing that comes in mind is with the computers. We meaning our country went crazy to make sure everything were going to be okay. We spend millions of dollars on computers and machines that have computers in them and really on the year 2000 came there was no problem were we just jumping to conclusions.
Another thing that we jumped to was that we thought that other countries were not going to have enough money to protect them. Why I say that is because we thought that the other country was going not be able to fix their own computers. So we go into this big panic that since they can't fix their computers that these country's that had nuclear bombs were coming for us and that were not going to be able to stop them. On New Years did anything happen nope so why did we jump to a conclusions that we all going to die.
This quote means a lot to me. I think that I will remember it because everybody does a lot of jumping and not enough of just standing. If we would just stand for awhile and not jump so fast things will just happen naturally. If we just let that happen and I think nobody would have so much fear in himself or herself today
