| 8:03 p.m. saturday night sept. 26. a bobcat, a big one, ran in front of my car when i was driving to the farm, just before the island harbor marina road turnoff i had to swerve to miss him (or her), but it was a smooth swerve, and i didn't have to put on the brakes. he ran steadily from the left side of the road to the right, not looking toward me. with my bright lights on i saw him early enough to avoid hittinng him. |
