1. Makeups will be arranged only if David cancels the lesson (due to inclement weather or personal reasons), and all makeups will be held at a time of David’s choosing: usually on a 2-3 hour delay the same day, or on Friday of that week, or on Sunday afternoon of that week. If bad weather continues to preclude the makeup that same week, your group will be rescheduled the first available afternoon the following week. Refunds and camp-credits are not the policy of David Weiss Tennis Camps, as long as your group receives a makeup date.

2. You will be placed in a group with 3 other students with relatively similar abilities. But remember that every group will invariably have a strongest and weakest player, so group placement is up to David’s discretion. If you have your own group of players that want to remain together, it will be arranged.
3. There is a zero tolerance policy for the use of tobacco, drugs, or alcohol by minors on the grounds of Larkspur Swim and Racquet Club. Students may not behave disrespectfully toward any staff member of David Weiss Tennis Camps or of Larkspur Swim and Racquet Club or toward another student. Cursing and abuse of equipment is never permitted. Initial breaches may be dealt with by having the student sit out from the lesson for a period of time, while multiple or flagrant breaches may result in expulsion from the camp or the lesson.
4. Payments are accepted in cash or checks. All checks must be made out to “Larkspur Swim & Racquet Club.”
5. A deposit of 50% of the cost of the session must accompany this application in order to guarantee yourself or your child a place in one of the camp groups. If the session you have signed up for is full, you will be called or emailed as soon as possible in order to arrange for a different session. If applying for more than 1 weekly session, or if you have more than one child applying, please remit multiple deposits and note the different session-weeks or children’s names on the application.
6. If you do not pay in full with the submission of this application, the balance of the fees must be paid prior to the start of the session.
7. Cancellation policies: cancellations received by phone or mail at least 10 days prior to the first day of the camp session will result in a refund of all fees paid minus 20% of the cost of the session. Cancellations received by phone or mail within 9 days of the first day of the camp session will result in no refund, but the amount paid minus 20% of the cost of the session will be credited toward another camp session through the 2005 camp season, if there is an opening at that level.
8. If a student is expelled due to multiple or flagrant breach of camp rules, there will be no refund and no credit.
9. If you leave your child at a lesson, you must
leave an emergency number where you can be reached, and you must return before
the end of the lesson. David Weiss Tennis Camps is not responsible for your
child once the lesson is completed.
