Objective:

To secure an art-teaching or substitute-teaching position in the Chicagoland area.

Short Bio:

I completed my student teaching in Chicago Public Schools and received excellent reviews by my cooperating teachers and supervising teacher.

Professionally, I have been a consultant and salesperson in a fine arts gallery, a high-end framer, an art museum docent and tour guide, as well as a luxury car salesperson. 

I graduated sum cum laude with a B.S. in fine arts, and am skilled in artistic techniques such as painting, drawing, photography, and print making. I live in Chicago; my certification is pending in Illinois and active in Vermont.

My Teaching Philosophy:

Art class is not merely about teaching artistic techniques. Instead, it can become a venue that teaches divergent thinking and problem-solving skills by enabling students to harness and develop their creative-thinking skills.
