The first day of school is right around the corner and I'm looking forward to a great school year!  I hope that you are having a great summer and are ready to get at it.  I've had a wonderful summer working on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, and am now getting ready for school to start.

A couple of items to let you know about.  First of all, our classroom website (http://www.geocities.com/dwheth/index.html) is going to be one of the first places to check out for information.  I try my best to update it regularly (at a minimum, I get to it once a week to post newsletters, etc.).   I'm also going to do my best to keep the blog updated--feel free to respond to comments I'm making here.  Secondly, I also have a "forum" (hosted by Bravenet) where you can post questions, and have discussions between the families in our classroom!  I'll also weigh-in on questions and issues when I can.  So, if there's anything going on that you're wondering about, feel free to post a question there!  I know there will be lots of questions with the start of the school year upon us as well, so jump right in and get involved!  :)
