| TREASURED FRIEND Dawn is breaking not a word is heard. Just some chirping from one little bird. I notice him pirched upon my rail. He isn't afraid of me, he seems weak and frail. I cup him in my hand. I give him love and praise. For some reason his visit seemed rather planned. Some food and water is all I could give. It was up to him and his maker if he was going to live. With a blink of his eye, and a stretch of one wing. He looked up at me and started to sing. I smiled as I let my new friend free. He was a gift to treasure. A memory for me. |
| LOVE REUNITED Soaring from the heavens her wings gracefully strong. She travels far, she knows where her heart does belong. Gliding through clouds and clear blue sky. She starts to tire, but her love is standing faithfully by. He waits as night falls, for wings in flight. They both know their choices were right. The moon lights up his pirched sillouette. Reunited again once more in the very place they first met. Wing to wing they sit just enjoying their love. Coes serenade the night. Songs from the heart of a reunited dove. |
