This web site is dedicated to the location know as "id-dwejra". Dwejra means "a small house", a Maltese word.
The area is mostly dominated by the Dwejra Lines, forming part of the line of the Vistoria Lines fortifications build by the British Empire in the 18th Centuary to protect the Southern side of the Island of Malta.
The locality is rich in natural fauna and offers a spectacular view of the Northern part of Malta, with a good view of Gozo, the sister island. On these web pages you can find Sunsets, Flowers, Insects, Views, Victoria Lines Animal pictures and Interesting Links.
