DweaM's Bedtime
Do
I know it looks more complicated than what it is, but basically this is what I do:

Wet-Bunning
First, let me say, I am an avid believer in wet-bunning.  After my shower (on hair-washing day), I let it air-dry for 30 mins.  I then roll the hair into a cinnamon bun (not too tight) and use imitation tortoise shell pins to secure the bun (about 2 large and 1-2 small).  I let the bun dry for a few hours and I check it for moisture by placing my finger inside the bun.  If it still feels wet, I will undo the bun and let the hair air-dry for an additional 15 - 20 minutes.  I then redo the bun directly on top of my head with claw clamp clips (small) so that if I need to sleep with it, it will feel comfortable.  It is usually dry by the morning.  When you do try this, you will see how silky and smooth your hair can be as a result of drying without heat.
BACK
On nights when hair is completely dry, I braid all my hair into one 3-strand braid at the back of my head (starting at the nape of the neck) and braid all the way down to the ends.  If your ends are uneven, stop braiding when hairs beging falling out of the braid.  I later coil the entire braid around itself on the top of my head (a braided bun) and ensure that the ends are tucked under the bun itself.  I secure with claw clamps (4 small), 1 on each side, slip on my night-cap and I am ready for bed!
