I've seen alot of pink ribbon products but I have not seen any candles. I had an idea for a candle way back in January 2006 and after alot of trial and error, I have a finished product. I contacted the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation and asked their permission to use the pink ribbon to make my candles. I told them my idea was to sell my candles for $12 and $5 of that would be donated to breast cancer research. I have since been given their permission and have a signed agreement with them.
My candle is a 3" x 3" x 4.5" square pillar scented vanilla (I can also make unscented). There are wax pink ribbons inside the candle on 2 sides, the other 2 sides have nothing. Wrapping around the whole candle on the bottom it says, "Help light the path to finding a cure. Eclairez la voie afin de trouver un traitement." |
