Ok, I'll make this brief:
We met in high school around our sophmore year. Adam was recovering from a very bad car accident (left him in a coma for 3 months and hindered his right side and speech). My school was the only school in the county with a physical therapy department and since Adam had to learn to care for himself again AND graduate high school, he landed at Mt. Zion High School. I fell in love with him a while later and "chased" him for two years. Finally, our senior year came and I gave up on him. On the last day of our senior year, Adam kissed me....we talked over the summer, went out a few times and April 9, 2004 will be our 6 year anniversary! Marriage is in the works, but not anytime soon. We have a lot of stuff to figure out before we take the plunge! :)
May 17, 2003 - Gretchen graduated with a BA in History.
Dec 2003 - Adam graduated with an Associate's in Graphic Design.
January 5, 2004 - Gretchen started her job as a full time receptionist at State Farm Insurance. She's not particularly thrilled about the position because of all the testing for licensing she's going through, but it pays the bills.
February 12, 2004 - Adam got offered a position with a graphics company. He'll start his training on February 15.
February 27, 2004 - Gretchen quit her job at State Farm and Adam lost his job at the Graphic Design place after his 2 weeks of training. Oh what a day it was!!
April 12, 2004 - Gretchen starts the job she's been waiting for for over a year, at Georgia Power! She's movin' on up!!
