It features, rather than a game from the past, a possible futuristic game. I traded some players around and so on, and it will not screw up your own roster. The scenario is Game 7 of the NBA Finals between Orlando and Phoenix. The series is tied 3-3, and Phoenix is looking to upset Orlando, as the Suns were the number 2 team in the West--and Orlando was only the 5th in the East. For the Magic, Grant Hill, McGrady, and Armstrong are the major scorers. For Phoenix, although the points are evened out, Shawn Marion didn't have a GREAT game, as he was guarded toughly by Grant Hill. There is about 0:06 left in the 4th with the score 95-94, Suns, and Orlando ball. You are set as the Nuggets on Superstar difficulty (which is the difficulty I used to get the score, even though I often switched teams). The decision is yours. Are you going for a tough two-pointer to win it? Or are you going to hope you're open for three? Or you could try to draw the foul...I have beaten it on Superstar level. This is a pretty tough challenge, as it plays with your head on what you should do. Good luck!

To Install: Go to your EA Sports folder, or wherever your NBA Live 2000 Folder is. Go into NBA Live 2000 Folder and go into Saves. Create a new folder, such as 889. Move all files in this package into folder 889 or whatever you named it. Then, run the game, go to Files, and click the game in slot 889. Have fun!

As Phoenix: Although this was dominantly an Orlando ballgame, and they once led by as many as 20, you have managed to come back by halfway through the 4th. Then the score remained even until Darrell Armstrong accidentally called a time-out with none left. This sent Shawn Marion to the line, giving you the one-point advantage. All time outs are gone and it looks as if you may have the championship. Can you play tight D for another 6 seconds? If so, Jason Kidd will celebrate his first championship, and Michael Doleac (this is "the future" so I traded some players) might have some revenge on his former team!

As Orlando: A tough challenge has arrived. Sure, you had huge point leads and Grant Hill has had a great game. But now you are faced with a prob...the Suns came back! Can you pull off a win for the big ring? Surely T-Mac would like one! But you have a tough decision. Grant Hill (and Tyrone Hill)and Michael Smith all have had okay (Grant's was great) nights, so you could dump it in for two. T-Mac is also a good choice, and with his athletic talent, he might be able to draw a foul. And Darrell can shoot, even for 3...don't forget, you DO have subs, but you DON'T have a second chance.
