--Roster Update 2.1 by dw0914--

Thanks so much for downloading my NBA Live 2001 Roster Update. The first one (version 1.0) was released on Saturday, Ferbuary 17, 2001, and it was the first updated roster for NBA Live 2001 that came out! Thanks for downloading once again. Remember to come back to the site soon, as more roster updates will be out later. If you see anything wrong, please e-mail me right away at dw0914@hotmail.com .

What to do...

1) There is a folder you downloaded called 000. Remember where it is!
2) What drive is your game installed on? For most people it's the C:\ Drive. Go there, then open the folder called Program Files.
3) In Program Files, you'll see a folder called EA Sports. Open it, then inside it, double-click the NBA Live 2001 folder.
4) Now in the NBA Live 2001 folder, look around for the "saves" folder. Open it as well.
5) In the "saves" folder, look and see if you have a folder called 000. If you do, rename that folder something else, such as 010.
6) After renaming that folder, go back to the one you downloaded, which is still called 000.
7) Select it by clicking it once and use either cut or copy. Now go back to the saves folder (in the NBA Live 2001 folder).
8) Paste the folder you downloaded (000) into the saves folder.
9) Enter the game and look on the bottom menu. Click the little disk icon to open the Files Menu. Now look for a file called RSTRUPDATE2.1 and press Load.
10) Enjoy!

What's Added...

I completed all trades and free agent drops / additions after the trade deadline. So new rosters (realistic ones) probably won't be out 'til this summer (or after playoffs). I also updated some players' ratings. Bobby Jackson was at a 64 and Michael Ruffin was pretty low too, among others. The team rankings are fairly accurate, except Chicago isn't last, they're 27th. But most simulated seasons end up with them in last anyway! There's only a few players not in the game--Anthony Goldwire (DEN), Mark Bryant (DAL), Vladimir Stepania (SEA), Cory Alexander (ORL), and Art Long (SAC) but none make a huge difference. But they might be back so check soon anyway. And different (warped and unrealistic) rosters will be out soon as well. Check back soon for more updates!
