Alright, here's a little something for ya to read.

Untitled

Is it really, what it seems?
Has her ability to disguise gotten worse
Or have your perceptions magnified?
Do storms explode where waterfalls dance,
While unwanted anarchy transcends the norm?

Shes a lioness
Converted to kitten,
A shadow
fleeing from the light,
Incapable
of unassisted thought.

Were there signs in the beginning
Or were her rose colored glasses obscuring your eyes?
Did she signal to you for help
As reality encapsulated your ears?

She disengages
seduced in defeat,
Strength and will
expunged from her being,
Anticipative for you
to restore her.

Dilemma

My dilemma is that I don't want to.

When I look into your eyes, I don't want to see what I see
I can feel your eyes examining, trying to understand me
You gaze deep into my eyes, while holding our embrace
I stare back trying to interpret the expression on your face

How can I make myself not want you?

It's the same expression I fell for before
The same expression that made my heart sore
As I look back at you, I remember and forget
The one other man that gave me this gift

Please dont be the one, I dont want you to.

I felt joy, security, and trust all in one glance
And at the same time, I opened my heart to a chance
Maybe you could make me feel better than he did
Maybe you could be the one to make my emotions surface again

I want you to go, cause Im falling for you.

I can definitely see the possibility
I see it all in those eyes - gazing at me

And my dilemma is that I don't want to.

In the Mirror

Vanity, encompassed with insecurities, creates a lost soul
stranded, with no safe shore in sight.
She is drowning,
barely able to keep her nose and mouth above water.
She can barely stay afloat in her own self confidence.
Every once in a while she manages to gain control
and make the swim to safety.
But she is constantly placing obstacles in her own path.

As soon as she gains that perfect stroke
she is faced with grief,
uncertainty,
eventually depression.
Then she realizes,
the obstacles are being created by her own self doubt
and the only thing pulling her to safety
is the assurance of those around her.

The scariest thing about everything going on
she is the greatest hindrance to herself.
She has no idea how to battle her own mind
Her biggest enemy
and the only thing pulling her under.
More importantly
it is the one thing she feels she cannot fight against
and has no idea how to overcome.

But

The sun is shining on her back
inspiring the calm of the waves.
He is the guiding light to the shore
yet part of the storms to come,
adding to her obstacles
but necessary to build her strength.
Like all things in nature
he is what she needs,
at least she thinks she needs.
To inspire her strength
reassure her confidence
he is the rock she rests on
the wind she uses to help her float to shore
he is ...

Double Trouble
Two personalities, so similar
theyre like twins.
But both very unique, nonetheless.
Honey Caramel teamed with Silk Chocolate -
a deadly combination.
A tease to the senses
a delight to the eyes
simply seductive on every level.
Dominant on the surface
with easy to access Jell-O centers.
Bousiousie with ghetto edges
each leaning to their own extreme.
Down to Earth - an understatement.
Blunt opinions are their daily gift.
Modelesque physiques
with an athletic undertone.
Seductive strides, turning eyes
Bare beauty keeping the attention.
Cleavage, midriff, or legs
pick your poison -
they got it all.
