The YOUNGMEN GAZETTE
HEADS UP!
The DV Youngmen are off to a great start this year with several new faces really bringing the squad together.  They plan to keep focused, however, as it is still early and anything can happen throughout the season.

AYEEE!!
Kia West Edmonton has gone ahead and will give its support to the DV Youngmen.  Several of the Youngmen already own Kia vehicles.  The DV Youngmen extend their gratitude for the addition of the Kia sponsorship.

GOLDEN!
At least thats the hopes of the DV Youngmen as they plan on participating in several tournaments throughout the 2005 outdoor season.  With success in exhibition games and in the early parts of the season, hopes are high and dedication to training is evident.  So far two tournaments are confirmed with a third one in the works.

CLEATS HAS IT ALL!
"Uncle Dennis" Lucadello has always been the man to go to where soccer gear is concerned.  Cleats has been dressing and redressing the DV Youngmen since their establishment.  "We wouldn't think of going anywhere else" a player from the DV Youngmen was quoted.  Give Cleats a call at 455 2528 to fill any soccer need you might have!

TSK TSK!
Seems as though the DV Youngmen are keeping a tight regime!  In hopes of keeping the team on the right track, coach Brad Kelly has called for an extensive, exhausting practice after a slight slip on the pitch.  "We have got to keep our cool and make sure this recent success does not go to our heads" he exclaims.  "Dedication and focus are our main concerns right now."

ULTIMATE SOCCER!
Soccer Steve is always out and about where soccer is concerned and his interaction with the Youngmen is no exception.  The DV Youngmen would like to make everyone aware of his efforts towards the soccer community throughout Alberta.  You can catch the exciting Soccer Steve Wednesdays at 7:00PM on the Team 1260 radio station, as well as Thursday mornings at 9:00AM.  A brand new website has this man exploding online at www.soccersteve.com.

YOUNG MEN WITH BIG HEARTS!
The DV Youngmen plan to support their home town once again.  The town of Drayton Valley will once again be hosting its 24 Hour Soccerthon to raise money for an indoor soccer center among other things.  Our featured team did a great job last year raising some serious bucks, helping out the local youth teams, and kept the action fun and exciting!  Plans are already in the works to outdue last years performance.
