History:
Valin grew up as a Jedi, living, learning, and training at Master Skywalker�s Jedi Academy. At age twelve, he was unwittingly swept into the battle for Yavin 4. Afterwards, he and the other students of the Academy were moved to Valin�s grandfather�s Star Destroyer. Later they were moved to a secret base, which the Vong soon found. Whisked away to another hiding place, Valin was beginning to grow impatient with hiding.
At age thirteen, he convinced his father to teach him to fly. He quickly mastered the art, and joined the New Republic Military when he turned sixteen. After half a year of training with the military, he was chosen to fly with Saber Squadron, Jedi Master Ashta-Mei Rlgah�s X-Wing squadron.
