Ayen Seltar was raised on Coruscant by his parents, Sepha and Dale Seltar. His unremarkable childhood and average logic marked him as one of the billions of citizens who had the chance of leading a normal life. But at age fifteen, Ayen felt the pull of the stars. Like many other young men, he joined the New Republic military as soon as he could, passing his entry tests with the lowest scores possible. He joined the Starfighter Corps and learned to fly. His snubfighter of choice was the nimble A-Wing, but a shortage of X-Wing pilots booted him out of the A-Wing cockpit, and into Saber Squadron. His natural tendency to work to excel served him in good stead during his time at the academy. His love for his squadron and life prompted a sometimes rash logic that was the only tarnishing mark on a bright future, full of opportunity.
