History:
All of his life, Alex Vanner had wanted to be a pilot. When he was still very young, he learned to pilot a shuttle for his father�s shipping service. He entered the New Republic Military Academy and learned to pilot X-Wings. He applied for admission into a fighter squadron. For several months, he got no reply. Then he was accepted for possible selection into Saber Squadron. He trained furiously in preparation, but when the time came, his natural skill in the cockpit took over. He was accepted and assigned as Saber Eleven.
