We meet six times per year, depending upon the program, either at Meadowbrook Farms or a nearby library. Both are in the Jenkintown/ Abington area which is the southeastern part of Pennsylvania.
The meetings are currently scheduled for 10AM to NOON on the first Saturday of the following months: September; November; January; February; April and June.
Our programs are educational in that we have special speakers, discussions on growing and propagation of begonias and other house plants, plus workshops.
Sept 12th 11am to 4pm Penn.Hort. Society's(PHS) Members'Day This is PHS annual"Thank You" event for its' members.Members will receive their plant dividend. The event is free and open to the public. It is held at the Phila Naval Yard. There will be food, entertainment,lectures and music. It is rain or shine and it is always a great day of family fun with free parking. Many of the local growing societies will be represented at this event. DVB/ABS will have a table, members will answer questions on begonias.Make sure you pay us a visit.
