Manchester United continued their winning ways with a 3-1 demolition of Inter in the San Siro. The home team were outplayed especiall in passing efficiency, only connecting on 59% of their passes compared to United's 71%. The visitors opened the scoring in the 38th minute when Cristiano Ronaldo's cross from the edge of the box found Harry Kewell on the far side for the fierce finish. Hernan Crespo quickly answered for the home side as he pounced on the rebound of his own shot for the tying goal. Unfortunately for Inter, it went down hill in the 2nd half, when it became all Manchester United. Ruud van Nisterooy got in on the action |
