CHAMPIONSHIP FUTBOL MANAGER CONSTITUTION Championship Futbol Manager is a Soccer Managerial Simulation in which people from around the world come together to compete and see who has the brains to lead their team to CFM Glory. Championship Futbol Manager is a annually continuous league and will be run in a weekly format for the fans and by the fans. CFM STRUCTURE Championship Futbol Manager will have four(4) executive positions, whose jobs vary but will be relied upon to uphold the integrity and success of the league: Commissioner- Will be an elected position following the end of the league’s 2nd season with 2 year terms, but Inaugural be Brian O’Donnell, league founder. Will be responsible for: 1. Making sure League and team financial aspects are taken care of and documented(may delegate this authority to someone as long as rest of league is informed). 2. Proposing amendments to CFM Constitution(same as MC #4). 3. Simulating matches and providing match reports. 4. Emailing all managers of important league news 5. Making sure league web page is updated on a regular basis(authority may be delegated) 6. Create League schedule yearly Managerial Commission- Made up of three(3) Premier League managers, elected by the managers, in a annual vote The Managerial Commission is responsible for: 1. Checking the power of the Commissioner, making sure his actions are in accordance with the CFM Constitution. 2. Representing the managers who are not on the Commission fairly, but use their best judgement in making decisions of what is best for the league. 3. Approving the Commissioner’s proposed ticket price ceiling by a majority decision. 4. Proposing amendments to CFM Constitution. -Amendments may only be proposed through the Managerial Commission. If the Amendment receives support from 2 of the 4 Executives, the amendment will be put to a vote amongst all managers. The amendment will need a 2/3 majority to pass. Financial Aspects of Championship Futbol Manager -19 home games per year for each team Stadium Size: Use actual Stadium Sizes All Premier League teams will start with $10 million Stadium Upkeep costs will be on a weekly basis Go on Form Rating for weekly gate receipts. Limited Season tickets for each team(˝ of stadium capacity) Ticket prices will affect Season Ticket Sales. Start of Year ticket sales In each division, the cheapest tickets will sell all season tickets. The second cheapest will sell 98% of the avail and so on for the remaining 18 teams. 1. One month before each season, the Commissioner will set a ticket price ceiling 2. Price ceiling faces approval of Managerial Commission. 3. League Champs sell out season tickets automatically 4. A team in Red may not purchase a player 2. The Commissioner must deny a transfer that puts a team in the red. 3. Teams may trade a player(s) in return for a player(s). Transfer Options 1. Transfer a. lump sum up-front b. initial lump sum + later payment(lump sum or monthly installments) 2. Loan a. ranging in length from 1 month to the end of the season. 3. Loan w/ future intent to buy a. receive payer via loan w/ future option to buy b. usually at a reduced fee. 4. Managers have option of keeping it private from rest of league, if desired. All Transactions must go through the Commissioner before being finalized. 1. Both Managers must email the Commissioner a copy of the deal, therefore acknowledging the transaction. 2. First Transfer Deadline: March 20th annually. Transfer Market opens annually: May 31st Second Transfer Deadline: Day following the last game of the season. MANAGERS Matchday Tactics: -Managers must submit teams tactics at the start of the season either via email or the tactics submission tool on the website. Tactics include: 1.Team formation 2. Team Selection 3. Team instructions 4. Individual player instructions -If no changes are submitted, team tactics will remain the same as the previous week. All managers will be required to submit a password for their team via email to use for their tactics submission tool. Impeachment: Managers: If three of the four executives feel that a manager is neglecting his duties to his team and the league, the issue will be put in front of a league-wide vote in which 3/4 majority is required to remove the manager from his position. A manager will then be selected from the League Waiting list to replace the sacked manager. Managerial Commission member: This league wide vote is initiated through the Commissioner. The commissioner is the only member of the league with the power to call for such an impeachment vote. 3/4 majority is required to impeach a member of the Managerial Commission. If impeached, the place on the commission will be filled via an election exactly one week following the impeachment. All teams will be required to submit their vote with their password using the website. Commissioner: This league wide vote is initiated by atleast 2 of the 3 members of the Managerial Commission. 3/4 majority is required for impeachment. If impeached, the office will be reassigned via an election. The Managerial Commission will chose one of their email addresses to receive the votes via email. That Managerial Commissioner may not be on the ballot for Commissioner. If impeached, the Commissioner must turn over all league accounts and passwords to the new Commissioner. Awards 1. There will be a manager of the year award, voted on by all the managers for who did the best job that season 2. Managers may not vote for themselves. 3. The league will look into the possibility of purchasing some sort of trophy for the league Champion. Season Format 1. Each team will play a home and away fixture versus every other team in the league. 2. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points will be awarded for a loss 3. Managers will vote prior to season one on how League championship will be determined. The choices will be the usual most points win the league format or, the top 4 teams have a playoff at the end of the season with #1 Vs. #4 and #2 Vs. #3 in the semis, and the Championship between the two semifinal winners. *A Waiting List will be formed for people who would like to sign-up but cannot because the league is full. Each team will consist of 23 players.(11 starters, 5 subs, and 7 reserves).
