TORTOISE
Torts should be a bright even orangey brown color that blends into a dark blue over the rump and along the haunches.  The undercoat cream color should not begin until very close to the skin.  The top of the tail should be a matching orange and the underside should be a smokey blue, matching the belly color.  The head of a tort should have dark blue, matching the haunches, inside the whisker bed, lightening in shade along the jaw and darkening again at the ear base.  The ear color should lighten from base to blend with the body color near the tips.  Torts are faulted for white hairs in the colored parts, "smut" or "smudge" in the orange parts, muted shadings, or a light color under the tail.

Torts are disqualified from showing if they show no shading.

The eye color for a tort should always be dark brown.
