Feeding of the Breeding Doe
Breeding does should receive the same single ration as any other rabbit until kindling time.  High production does, or does that are constantly bred without breaks between litters, need a higher protein amount.  18% is the best for keeping does in optimum form.

After kindling the does rations should be gradually increased over 5 days from her normal ration to unlimited pellets.

The doe should always have an unlimited supply of hay as well, whether or not she has a litter.

For two to three days after weaning the doe should be cut back to half of a single rabbit ration of pellets but remain on unlimited hay.  The decrease in pelleted ration helps by reducing her milk production.

Each rabbit should be considered individually, if you notice a doe losing condition, or gaining too much flesh, then her ration should be adjusted to counter the problem.
