MetroTown
WEEE!  Mommy took me to Metrotown to get me a dress!  It was so great!  We went into the store Zibba, which specialized in nothing but gowns.  It was so great, my mom striked up a conversation in Russian with the woman who was helping me.  There was one I really liked, that was about 100, but I wasn't ready to make a decision, especially with another gown store right across.  So we went there.  Ladies whatever you do do not go into "Fascination" at Metrotown.  The lady there is like, psycho.  First thing she does when we came in there was start helping me but like, in a pushy kind of way, and she started like shoving these dresses in my face and made me try some on.  It was so scary I thought she wouldn't let me leave without purchasing one of her overpriced dresses.  I changed out of the last dress she gave me to try on and when I came out she was talking to a customer.  I grabbed my mom and we hightailed it out of there.

We went back to Zibba and tried the dress on again.  We told the woman about our encounter with the over pushy saleswoman.  And then she said that she's had girls come into her store crying after going to Fascination and not buying anything.  The pushy one would say "WHY DID YOU COME INTO MY STORE AND NOT BUY ANYTHING?!?" And then she told us another story of a girl who was like, size 18-20, who was looking for a dresst o buy her neice.  She walked into Fascination and that same woman instead of shoving dresses in her face simply took one look at her and said, "We don't have your size".  Well, that was the day that the store "Zibba" made about $2000  worth of sales from just one overweight woman.  Then I tried the dress on again and we bought it.  We came back at four after looking for shoes and a purse and trying on wigs, to get it fitted for straps because the dress was strapless and, welll, didn't give me the support I needed.  And then we bought a scarf and yay!  mom took me for some yummy sushi and then a Tai Chai Latte or something.  We didn't meet anyone we know even though we usually do.  However, we met 7 new people!  6 of whom were jewish, and 2 of whom were russian.  you must be thinking, I thought she said 7!  I did.  One of them was Jewish AND Russian.  Wee!
