Downtown
Elisa, Anthony, Joe, and I took the train down to downtown Vancouver where we planned to spend the day.  First eating some breakfast at MacDonalds, we wondered down some streets seeing that most stores weren't open yet.  We went to the vancouver library that wasn't opened yet, then to my bank.  There was a cathedral nearby that we went into.  I've never been in a cathedral before and it was really interesting to see.  there was someone playing the organ which was really lovely to hear.

The guy at starbucks:

Then we went to starbucks.  There were about twenty down there that we could have gone too but Anthony took us to this one specific one that he had gone too before where they had sat down on couches.  I complained, and even more so when I had ordered my Tazoberry Frap with whipped cream and found that there were no couches that weren't already occupied.   but no matter.  later I soon thanked him.  After the group that were on the couches had left we squeezed ourselves onto the 2 couches that remained.  And then it happened...this guy walked into that very starbucks we were sitting in...and Elisa and I were like WOW.  Yes, he was a hottie.  but not just any hottie.  he looked like a smart hottie.  Tall, nice glasses, he was so pretty...pretty hot looking.  yes.  and then he ordered a drink and left.  :(  and I couldn't stop talking about how hot he was.  and then...HE CAME BACK!  at first I thought anthony was joking when he said "Oh look your loverboy is coming back for you"  but then when he walked into the store I believed him!  (well just the fact that he was coming back)  He ordered 2  drinks (that means he was meeting someone seeing he was alone at the time =[=[=[=[)   and then stood at a table near where we were sitting.  AH i couldn't stop staring.  he didn't notice...or at least I hope he didn't...he was doing something on his cellphone.  probably sending a text message to the fiance he had waiting for him.  DAMN.

still in a dream we continued.  we went to this Tie Rack store.  no supreman ties.  :(  Virgin Records and A&B sound were amongst several stops that we had to schedule.  We went into a bunch of different clothing stores and tried on some clothing we had no interest in buying.  Then we went into FCUK and then I tried on this one shirt which was $48 and I had no real interest in purchasing, just trying on.  I come out to model for my friends AND WOAH hey here comes this sales lady trying to say oh it looks so good OH we have it in Fuschia and red I'll get it for you!  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH attack of the pushy salespeople!!!  AHHHHHHHHh

after leaving that store alive and visiting other stores we went to hotel to meet Shakira.  Then we went to earls for lunch where we had another Hottie encounter.  the waiter was to die for.  mmm.  AH anyway Then there were protesters on parade fighting for peace and not war concerning Iraq.  Then they found us again later.  AH SAVE THE WHALES!  suggested Elisa.  Heehee.  Then there was a lady holding a duck.  I petted the duck.  it was a nice duck.  It's going into the Guinness book of World Records for being the only duck to have tear ducks and the ability to cry for the same reasons humans can.  AHA I petted this duck and it's nice soft feathers.  awwww and then there was a rather large film crew and we asked what they were to be filming.  It's the television pilot for Century City.  SO I'll be sure to catch that when it comes to our telly's, if it does.  but yes.  good ol' vancouver.
Shakira then left us and went back to her hotel and we raced down to the station.  To our dismay we realized that we had missed our train.  There was a miscalculation as we thought it was to leave at 5:41 and when we got there we found that it actually leaves at 5:30.   SO we had just missed it and had to wait in the station for 45 minutes.  after phoning parents and telling of our untimely delays we again went to the nearby starbucks (cuz hey it's everywhere) and then made sure that we would catch the next train because it was the last one to come by.

Then we made it home.  rather late but we still made it.
