April 12: Laara, troy, travis and I went to an old western film set to film our film and television project. it was so creepy. There was this really narrow road and on either side of it was either a ditch or some sort of creek and it took almost 10 minutes to drive ever so slowly from the first set of the western film set to the other. And then to film our yelling scene we screened about buying over priced carrots in some sort of portable with the exterior lights, one of which started to smoke... April 13: I left my cellphone in Laara's van so I walked downtown to get it. Then my mom took me to starbucks and bought me my favourite tazoberry creme frap with whipped cream :D:D yep. then Mike walked home with me and I showed him how to use the camera's and all the different effects (tracer is still the best). Tanya wanted me to film her singing so I did. yep. I filmed her singing.
May 12th: Quite the jump from the last entry. Ummmm Today school didn't start until around 10:15 but I had a practice spanish exam in that I had to take at 8:30. School school school. But that's OK! blk b was a pleasurable nap with a friendly pillow. we had to do speeches today. I was supposed to go but my printer ran out of ink (HA a likely story you say but VERY TRUE) and the disk I saved it on to print out at school didn't seem to be working. I wrote it last night. First I was going to do my speech on questions. I wrote out an entire speech on questions and then at 9:15 last night I decide to change it to something else: FLOWERS yeah I'm a geek but anywayz yes stayed up to about 11 just typing it up. Then today I couldn't even do it = [. But that's OK! yep. afternoon classes were a snore. after school I went over to mikes to finish watching the matrix then YAY we got to see L.A. Confidential (heehee russel Crowe's chunky legs!)
May 17th: Went to see Matrix 2: Reloaded with anthony, joe, carolyn, and angelique. hooboy absolutely not what I expected. It didn't live up to my expectations (i have got to lower my standards for movies I'm dying to see otherwise i'll end up never enjoying any movies) yeah. it was kinda corny. the fight scenes were ok but some of them just seemed to lag and lag on. BUT THE HIGHWAY SCENE omg THAT lived up to my expectations (they built a whole freeway in Australia just to film one scene on) it was so awesome. what really go me angry though was how silver city went up in price. Before it was 13.50, NOW It's 13.95! by the time the next matrix comes out it'll be 15 dollars to see a bloody movie!!!
May 25th: WeeeeeeeE last night was the Grad Dinner Dance! it was so awesome and everyone looked so lovely! I should have pictures up soon. I really want to rearrange this website but I can't do it until school is over.
May 28th: Today the music department held a fundraiser for the AP class to raise money in order to pay for an exam they had no idea they had to pay to take. it was great fun. We got to learn different dances including Swing dances, (YAY) then we got to learn the normal run of dances that you'd leaern in PE class (blah hustle, line dance, blar de blar) it was good fun. Then they put on music and we got to practice what we just learned. EEE
May 30th: blah I've spent the past two weeks staying after school with laara editing my final film project. weee it's a script I wrote. woodles. The latest I've stayed at school editing was 8 and the earliest I've left is 6 but i'm FINALLY FINISHED! It's been hectic getting ready for alice in wonderland as well: yay I'm the Duchess (heehee what a coincidence...) For all you people who know where this play is at and haven't bought your tickets yet WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR GO BUY THEM!! . Next week we have matinees e v e r y d a y for elementary and middle school students plus 2 night shows SO come one what are you waiting for!!!
May 31st: I went to church like I do on most saturday mornings until 4 and helped out with the kids again. When I got home I went for a good walk with anthony and talked about a great many things. It was all good fun and I got my movie back from him. Then after I went to Mike's house and watched "The thing". IT was his final attempt to scare me with a movie seeing that I laughed at the SHining (c'mon shelly Duvall and her ahhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhh ) and the Changeling (k the possessed wheelchair I admit was a little creepy. just a little...) The Thing wasn't all that sscary it was more gross but meh it was goooooood. gooood times it was gooooooood times. yes.
June 1st: FINDING NEMO! weee I went to see Finding Nemo with Mike and his family. It was his mom's birthday and she invited Jomopo and I to come along to see it. OMG it's so funny. THE SEA MONKEY TOOK MY MONEY! Then we went back to his place for cake and had chinese food and then we watched the Man in the Iron mask. gllllllllll leonardo DiCaprio looks freakishly feminine.
June 4th: WOOH it was our first evening Performance of Alice AND wonderland (Heehee someone put a sign up on the doors saying "Alice and Wonderland: Please line up outside cafeteria) The performance went well! My mom couldn't recognize me :(:(:( She only recognized me when I started singing my song about beating a baby boy because it sneezes. I'm gonna be the best mother in the world!!!
June 6th: it was so hot out today, it reached about 34 degrees high here. The teachers at our school were having a contest to see whose room would get the hottest. Some classroom won with 32 degrees as their high! It was our final matinee for alice in wonderland. we did a matinee everyday this week plus 2 evening shows on wednesday and thursday. Mike and I were supposed to go see the Italian Job but today had to be the day that the sequel to the Fast and the Furious came out and everyone else had decided to go see it. We weren't even halfway through the line when our movie had already started so we decided to rent one instead. we rented Brotherhood of the Wolf (anthony you're right it's a really good movie i just needed to see it and the coolness which is mOnica belluci again to appreciate it :P) and bought some ice cream and ate it while watching the movie.
June 7th: Went to church today. There was a shavuot celebration at night and I ended up staying in the basement with the little kids watching "The Tuxedo". It got boring so I ended up talking on the phone for most of the evening to mike. When I got home he came over and that gave me the opportunity to give him the grad present I had bought for him ( he got me a superman ring. I thought it was only appropriate to get him a batman ring :P)
June 11th: Today we had a cast party for Alice in Wonderland. Megan's mom made tarts for the whole class, heehee fit the theme. That night we had our final music concert. HA. 2 hours long it was supposed to be. it lasted for 3. 3 HOURS! it went on for so long. AH but the clarinets were awesome! we did this one song in which there were about 5 clarinet solos. Seeing there's only three of us playing the clarinet we decided to just do all the solos together as one unit. it turned out pretty nicely. it was a good concert. many tears. We had graduates from the music department from past years come up and recieve a little token from the music department.
June 13th: how ironic is it that the last day of classes is on Friday the thirteenth? In spanish, we sat on the floor while Senora read us "Donde Hay Humo" (which means "where there's smoke"). It was like one of those robert munch books but in spanish. She read it to us and it was really fun. The grade 12's in the class thought it was cute seeing that it's their last day of highschool and they're spending it as if it were their first day in kindergarten reading books in the circle. In english we finished watching "The breakfast Club" . Then we got our yearbooks and the rest of the afternoon was just massive nothingness. That evening Mike came over to watch "Superman the Movie". The VHS it was on however chose not to comply with our wanting to watch it and turned out to be a "tracking" nightmare so we watched escape from alcatraz instead.
June 14th: Anthony came over at 8 ish and joe at 8:55. We were supposed to watchin something REALLY GOOD on television, however it got pre-empted or whatever you call it SO it was off to dairy queen just the three of us in joe's car. hey anthony ... DA NAAAAAAAA DA NAAAAAAAAAA DA naaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa dun dun duuuuuuuuuun he was a boy she was a girl lalalalalal haha tonight was fun :P
June 16th: had an english exam today at 10:30. I hope I did well on it. after the exam mike came with a lunch for me (thanks again!) and then we got to see the Grad Video on the telly's at school. After we went with Marissa downtown so she could get some lunch. thanks for the danish hun! After that I went over to mike's house and we had our final attempt at watching Superman the movie. this time it was on DVD and YES it worked!
June 17th: Went to school to volunteer in the library. I spent 2 and a half hours washing overhead rolls in the sink. but that's ok., I had the music of Amelie and Louis and Ella to keep me company. The librarian who was in the same room as me said that I was getting pretty good reception and I said that it was on a CD and she asked oh what CD and I said It's from the movie "Amelie" and she said OH I have not seen that movie yet! I think I'll go see it this summer Then through the day she'd comment on the CD and said she liked it. THEN THEN THEN Louis armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald "SummerTime" came on and she says "this is one of my favourite songs" "Me too" and then she turns around and says "So how come YOU like this kind of music?!?" I thought it was the funniest thing. After I met up with JomoPo and Mike and we went to get some sushi. Then we went to mike's house and watched Superman 2. it's just as good and corny as the first. :D:D:D
june 18th: worked for 3 and a half hours in the library today. that's 6 hours so far cleaning overhead rolls.
June 19th: Had my spanish exam today. came to school about 4 hours before the exam and studied my brains out. I basically copied out one whole section of the textbook which explains everything. I was really smart, you know. Spend 4 hours writing out a text book and then spend another 2 and a half taking the damn exam. brilliant. anyways it was ok. after I went to mike's, then went home. Later on in the evening I went for a walk with anthony. Doing something that night was originally joe's idea so we called him and low and behold he wasn't home so anthony and I went out for a walk together .
June 20th: Worked in the library again today. The librarian brought in tow of her Cd's, one was the new Rod Stewart one where he's singing all the jazz songs and the other was that Michael Buble from vancouver. He sounds just like Frank Sinatra. omg. afterwards joe and anthony picked me up and we went to the mall. we hung around there for a bit and joe bought me lunch (thank s for the poutine!) and anthony bought me chocolate (thanks for the chocolate!) in return for using my basement over the next 2 days. :P we went back to my house and ended playing N64 together. yes I whipped their butts at it. Then my sister went through my closet trying on my clothes and I went into her closet and tried on her clothes. then I snuck into my mom's closet and found her old black kimono. sillllllllllllk. siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilk. so sooooooooooooft. yep so I wore that for the rest of the evening. then mike came over and we watched "The Pianist" I want that movie. I want it.
June 21st: Went to church. there was a little celebration in appreciation for the shabbat school teachers and we got a $50 gift certificate to a bible bookstore. after church I went over to mike's house and then my mom came and picked me up. Elisa came over and then anthony and then we waited aimlessly for joe. Then joe came over. We didn't know what to do. I didn't really sleep well last night so I was really out of it. :P they ended up playing monopoly and watching Taken which anthony Kindly brought over. then the boys left and elisa stayed because she was sleeping over. we watched the pianist but I fell asleep party way through.
