Then afterwards we don't even go home, we go and open a bank account but before then we had Japanese food which wasn't the greatest but hey we got booths and I found a penny and the lady there gave me a balloon. The guy who helped me open an account looked like Dean Cain and Billy Zane put together. After that we went to order a new computer which took a while, then we went to Starbucks and met one of my mom's friends there. After that we went to the grocery store and I picked out my own cake and told the lady there what to write on it cuz my mom was on the phone with my sis for the 5th time.
Anyways we got home and I wanted to change. When I came downstairs I heard all these voices and then all these people (my friends) started filing out from under the stairs! I screamed because Duckie dyed her hair! She used to be blonde, I can't call her Marylin Monroe anymore but I can call her Mary Jane from Spiderman! Heehee.
So yeah, my sister had been planning it for about a month or so. Originally my mom was going to take me to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat but the theater closed for the summer a week before my birthday.
And it was really funny because for almost the whole day my mom kept me outside the house doing errands and I was really depressed and trying to hold back the tears understanding that she was trying to make up for it. I asked if we could go to a movie that night and she was like no promises. We went to Rogers and got a video after I made her promise to take me to a play on another day.
But now that I think about it all the signs were there that there was gonna be a surprise party.
1) I got a card in the mail from the KANGAROO SMUGGLAR who has never talked to me outside of school. and on the card it said something about not being able to go to the party.
2) Mom made me stay at Costco, she wouldn't let me go home with her.
3) She kept running errands and never took me home.
4) At safeway she bought like 6 bottles of pop and 3 oven pizzas
5) Toots kept calling like every 5 minutes
6) Everytime she called my mom would walk away from me
7) When I came home I looked at the call display and 4 friends had called but left no messages.
8) When I came downstairs before I heard the voices mom was holding the camera in her hand.
BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I WAS TOO DEPRESSED TO SUSPECT ANYTHING!!!
I HAVE THE BEST SISTER!!!!
