| A website dedicated to the Dutch Black Metal Underground TIRANILOR BIOGRAPHY Tiranilor is a melodic black metal band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, currently consisting of three members: Aztanak (vocals), Hrethgir (guitars and programming) and Aragnys (synth and programming). In 2000, the first recordings of Tiranilor were made in de Dynamo studio in Rotterdam and released on the 2 track demo tape 'Tales Of Ancient Times'. In 2001 the first mini-CD 'Morion's Destiny' was recorded in studio Het Pand in Vlaardingen. The MCD contains the original sound of Tiranilor: spherical and melodical black metal with a lot of synths in a compact sound. During the period just before the recording of 'Morion's Destiny', the band played a lot of gigs. Some of the best in the Baroeg in Rotterdam, in various line-ups, together with other bands like Israthoum, Martyrs Of Darkness, Salacious Gods and Liar Of Golgotha. In present time the band has been creating and rejecting a lot of new songs. Some of the songs that are now finished will be released in April 2004 on a new demo CD (for promotional use only). The new sound of Tiranilor is a combination of the spherical component known from the first release, completed with much faster and heavier guitars. Parts of the new material are available on the Tiranilor website. The full version will only be available on the next release.
