| A website dedicated to the Dutch Black Metal Underground NIBDEM BIOGRAPHY It al started in the last days of 2003. M. felt the need to express himself by starting out a project and making the music he liked and the way he wanted it to be. At the end of december 2003 and the beginning of 2004 the first two songs were recorded. Both songs were pieces of Cold, Melancholic and Suicidal Black Metal, inspired by bands such as Drudkh, Burzum, Wyrd Leviathan (USA) and Darkthrone. In March 2004, M. re-recorded the song "Emptiness" and he also wrote and recorded two new songs for the first demo called 'Destroy Yourself', which was released by Plague Records (Europe) and Regimental Records (USA). Not many vocals are used in the music of Nibdem, for M. thinks the feeling you get and the whole atmosphere of the songs speak for itself - he only uses vocals to intensify this. The aim of Nibdem isn't to create new and/or innovative music - M. just wants to create music he likes.
