Why is a hamster the best pet? Why not buy a Guinea Pig, gerbil, rat or mouse? The thing is hamsters are easy to look after, they don't break the bank, there different types to choose from, If you want just one hamster you can buy a Syrian who prefer to be by there own or if you want two or three hamsters you can buy a Dwarf who prefer to live in Pairs or more. Also hamsters take up hardly any room and they don't use up a lot of your time. And of course their great fun!
