| 1. If you have a squeaky hamster wheel which is keeping you up at night grease it with some butter. (submitted by Freya Lorlei) |
| 2. If one of your hamsters have escaped and by night you still haven't caught it place a high sided container like an aquarium or waste paper basket and put a bowl of food and a bowl of clean water in there and then stack books to makes stairs up to the rim of the container so your hamster can get into the container. (remember to put somethibg soft at the moment of the cage to break your hamsters fall) When you wake up in the morning your hamster should be in the container. (submitted by Freya Lorlei) |
| 3. Dont buy the so called special black bear hamsters even though people say they are rare really there just the same as a golden hamster but there black. You would be better buying a golden hamster instead of spending $50 (I think that's around �33.50) more on a black bear hamster. (submitted by Freya Lorlei) |

| 4. If you buy a bar cage you will most likley find woodchips outside the cage so it might be better to get a cage with a tall plastic bottom so when your hamster does dig the woodchips don't go out of the cage like they would on a shallow plastic bottom. (submitted by Krystan Hodges) |
| 5.Buy a big bag of woodshavings instead of buying smaller expensive bags. After a year of doing that you will end up with more money. (submitted by Krystan Hodges) |
