My name is Matthew Vickery and I live in Scotland not far from Inverness. I have built a few websites but this is my biggest and most major one. I have also helped my dad build his website www.geocities.com/gardenblethers which is about the gardening articles he writes and I have helped my sister lara build her website www.geocities.com/greatguineas which is dedicated to Guinea Pigs.
I started to build this website just over a year ago because then I had two Russian Dwarf hamsters Snowflake and Chestnut unfortuantly since then they have both passed away. Chestnut had a light brown colour with a white stripe down her back and loved being handled, she died (aged just 1and a half years) a few weeks after her Tuma operation. Snowflake was pure white and was a little devil and always liked biting and chewing things she died in her sleep at 2 years old. I know have two Syrian hamsters a male Jaffa and a female Gem. I bought them not only as pets but too breed so I could experience hamster breeding first hand. I have one younger sister who is 11 and an older sister who is 14 my dad (Patrick) is 43 and my mum (Elizabeth) is 44. Apart from my hamsters we also have 3 dogs Jenny, Jessie and Sadie, 2 guinea pigs Jake and silkie, a cat Dusty, 2 goats Matilda and Biff, 6 chickens, 3 ducks named Hamish, Grace and Chandler and 2 goldfish so we have quite a family. My hobbies are playing football, badminton, hockey, tennis and squash helping out my dad pot plants, sow seeds, take cuttings etc updating my website, collecting munroes (a munroe is a mountain in Scotland over 914 metres high. Once you get to the summit of one of the munroes you have collected it the aim is to collected all the munroes which there are just over 350 of them) and playing the piano and the Clarinet. |
