*Dusty J is shown walking out of A limo right infront of Seatac airport. He grabs his bags from the trunk, and walks inside the crowded Washington airport. Dusty is wearing an old black t-shirt and black jeans, Mariners cap, and sunglasses so that he will not attract attention from any possible DHW fans in the airport, and god knows how many DHW fans their are nationwide, so Dusty is not taking any chances of being mobbed by diehard wrestling fanatics. Dusty walks over to the seats near the flight he is boarding and sits down. He takes his hat and shades off, and just relaxes, he has 20 minutes to wait for his flight, he is relaxing when all of A sudden, Dave Meltzer sits down beside Dusty and smiles. Dusty looks at Meltzer, and his eyes widen, he immediatly shakes Meltzers hand, Meltzer looks glad that A DHW wrestler knows who he is, but then again, what wrestling fan dosent know Dave Meltzer? Meltzer pulls out A tape recorder and microphone. Dusty looks at Meltzer in amazement and begins to talk to him.*
Dave Meltzer, it certainly is an honor sir, how can I help you?
Well Dusty, I have been in Japan the past few weeks doing some reports on their annual deathmatch tournament, when I got back, I heard about this new rookie in the DHW that was absolutley on A roll and very popular, I had to get an interview.
Mr. Meltzer it is definatly an honor to be interviewed by you, so I say this, go ahead and lets get your questions rolling. Shoot.
Ok Dusty, I guess my first question would have to be, who trained you? I saw some of your matches and you were excellent.
I was trained at the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy, by various trainers, including the man himself. Jose Lothario, Shawns trainer, also helped us out occasionally with the excersises.
Ok thats very intresting Dusty, next question. Who, or what got you intrested in professional wrestling?
When I was five, my father took me to my very first wrestling show, and it was A WWF show, I grew up in A rich family so we got backstage passes, and I met them all, Nikoali Volkoff, Iron Shiek, and the man that got me into it for good, Hulk Hogan.
What did The Hulkster say to you, and why did he inparticular get you intrested in the sport?
That night he was fighting Nikoali for the WWF title, I hated Nikoali, this was my first time seeing him, but he badmouthed America, and after he hit this one big splash, I thought he was going to beat Hogan.
Hogan kickedout, hulked up, and won the match. When we got backstage, he told me I could be anything I wanted and to train hard, drink milk, and take my vitamins, I did just that. And he became my hero, and from then on, I was hooked on wrestling, not just the World Wrestling Federation.
Very intresting Dusty, but one of the questions I am sure many of the fans have been dying to ask you is, can you be the biggest superstar that the DHW has ever produced?
Possibly, but I mean, when DHW has these big time guys like TJ Rocker, DJ "The Judgemaker", ELO, and Scandalous, there is no telling, because these guys have been here A lot longer and have accomplished more in the DHW, but I like to think I can become A potential star of the DHW.
And hopefully one day become the DHW World Champion, and if I win KOE, I can accomplish that.
I heard about your King Of Extreme tournament, it appears you are facing Arc-Angel at the King Of Extreme Pay-Per-View in the semifinals.
How are you going to handle battling the current FTW champion?
Arc-Angel huh? Well let me just tell you this Mr.Meltzer, Arc-Angel is one of those guys that likes to talk smack to his opponents, and there is no doubt, I like to do it too, but the diffrence between Arc and myself is, to put it simply, I can back it up and he can not. Arc is A big strong wrestler, but the talent defintly belongs to me, Dusty J has been training ever since the day he met Hulk Hogan, and Mr. Meltzer, I will be damned if I am going to let some recond rate superstar like Arc-Angel prevent me from becoming the 2001 King Of Extreme Winner.
Those are some very harsh words wouldn't you think Dusty?
Maybe, maybe not, but I am not going to be told what to do, or what to say, regardless if the front office likes it or not, they dont control me.
I also need to ask you about the open challenge that was issued by J Ruler, it appears the week after King Of Extreme, he wants to wrestle you in A match, he claims to have some unfinished buisness with you.
J Ruler? That guy I beat when I first got here? Oh man, I thought I was done with that guy. But let me say this to J Ruler, he can take me on any damn time he wants to in any damn match he wants to, so we can get it on, Mutilation, one week following King Of Extreme.
*The flight attendant announces that the next flight, the one Dusty has to catch, it now loading. Dusty walks to the port and boards the plane, gets in the very first, first class seat, right beside Dave Meltzer. Meltzer continues his interview.*
So Dusty, let us talk A little about your upcoming ladder match for the DHW world cruiserweight title belt. I mean this TJ Rocker is an awesome competitor in the ring.
Yes he is, I totally agree with that last comment you just made, TJ Rocker is one of the most talented wrestlers in the sport, but let me tell you this, I am better. TJ Rocker does not know all about my history in the sport, and before the sport of pro wrestling. TJ Rocker is just going to be another stepping stone on Dusty J's road to the DHW world heavyweight championship belt. TJ Rocker of all people should know that cruiserweights like us excell in these kind of gimmick matches, I am lighter than he is, faster than he is, and better than he is.
Dusty J has been hanging out in the middle of the company long enough, and once I defeat one of the number one men in this buisness, I will finally get the recognition I deserve, its time for me to take my place as one of the most elite superstars in the company Dave Meltzer, and im damn sure going to take advantag of this oppritunity.
Dusty let me say this, you certainly are excited about facing TJ Rocker at Mutilation, most of the guys would wet their pants and run away scared.
I have fought TJ Rocker before, I know his routine, and he knows mine.
But the only diffrence is, I have seen him in cage matches, I have seen him use ladders, I have seen him go hardcore before, he has never seen what I can do when their is A ladder involved. The ladder match is unquestionably the most dangerous match you can be involved in, espically if it is against me. You see, when HBK and I were down in San Antonio Texas, and he was training my ass off to make me A star, he showed me A thing or two about the ladder match, what to do, what not to do, whats smart, whats not, and I will take everything he taught me into consideration when im in that ring. I will not loose my cool and break my level of concentration. I will be at one hundred percent psyichally and mentally in that match.
But, the thing is, TJ Rocker has A great arsenal, how can you counter that?
His offense is A lot like mine, he is A great cruiserweight wrestler, A great mat technician, and one hell of A fighter. I will counter his moves as if I was countering my own, thats how much he and I resemble each other. It is going to be A very competitive encounter for sure.
*Hours later, the plane lands and Dusty, and Dave Meltzer get off of the plane, claim their luggage, and head to the nearest hotel, Meltzer is still trying to get the full scoop on Dusty J's opinions, and he has an appointment to meet some local indy stars as well, so it works out perfectly. Dusty gets A room and walks in it, followed by Meltzer, who sits down in one of the hotel chairs, Dusty lays down on one of the beds and begins to listen to more questions from Dave Meltzer.*
So Dusty, any final comments towards anything before we wrap up this little interview session?
Yes Dave, their is. Let me give these last comments and direct them towards my opponent for Mutilation, TJ Rocker. TJ my man, I have tremendous respect for you as A competitor, and most importantly as A human being. But the bottom line is, when we meet, it will be smack dab in the center of the DHW wrestling ring, and there is no doubt in my mind you will pull out all the stops to secure yourself A victory, well TJ, I will do the same, I would say im going to cheat if I half too, but hell, I dont half to, its A ladder match for gods sakes. So TJ, im going to bring it, and you damn sure better be willing to bring all you got come Mutilation, if you want some, come get some, but you better be big enough and bad enough to take some. We are going to give our fans one hell of A match, for the recordbooks.
*Dusty jumps up from the bed, Meltzer gets up from the chair, they shake hands, Meltzer leaves the room, as Dusty falls right back onto the bed.*
