Hey man, what are you doing?

I'm just thinking, about stuff.

*Dusty J and Gregory Dixson are sitting in Dusty's hotel room, the day after the empty arena interview. Greg has yet to address what happened with Dusty, after all, it looked as if his friend was in some sort of weird zone, his thoughts plentiful but only about Jeremy Nolin and what's been going on through the past week. Without his usual smile and jokester attitude, Greg has been pretty concerned over Dusty's mental well being over the past days, because all he can seem to talk, or think about, is Jeremy Nolin.*

Well what is it that you're thinking about?

Take a wild guess Greg.

Yeah...I see where you're coming from. But hey, how about the two of us go hit up the streets of Montreal, buy some Canada souveneirs, eat pancakes with their maple syrup?

No, really Greg, i'm fine. I'm just not in the mood for any of that today, you go. I just would rather be here.

Dusty, you're psyching yourself out about this whole Nolin thing. Don't worry about it, it's just another match, think of it that way.

That's where you're mistaking Greg, it's not just another match, it's the biggest match of my EFW career, and probably the biggest in my wrestling career, counting Chance, King of Extreme, all that stuff. It all lead up to this, this is going to be huge, and i'm not going to let my focus shift off it for one solitary second. If he beats me, i'll never hear the end of it, from him, from anybody.

You're not going to lose. And besides, who gives a damn what everybody else thinks anyway huh? I've known you since you were in DHW remember? I used to film for them? And ever since I met you, you've always been the guy to screw the critics and think about what you think first and foremost, what's going on?

This situation is entirely different. Back then man, I was a 21 year old rookie with absolutely nothing to lose. Now we're here, four full years later, and if I lose to Jeremy, all my credibility is flushed down the stinkin toilet. He may have been a helluva great competitor in his day, but if I let him beat me in his first match in forever, after a lengthy retirement where he owned a company and then took an absence from the wrestling scene all together, I don't know if anybody will be able to look at me again the same way they did.

You are letting him get in your head. Hell, you're just letting everything get in your head. Shake it off.

I'm trying to, it's just that...in a way, he's right. He's right. He gave me the platform to perform on, he gave me those title shots, I can't believe that I was so off base earlier, MAN!

You know, I think you're going a little overboard with it. He did book you in those difficult matches, he admits you weren't ready, but all he did was poke at you for thinking it was all to get at you, maybe it was. Hell man, maybe you were right, maybe you were wrong, who cares? Talk is cheap anyway, just don't let it infect you the way it is.

Yeah, but there is something he's dead on, no dispute about. I've never been a World Champion in my career. Granted i'm only 25 years old Greg, but he raises that point and that's what gets at me, because there's no doubt about the truthfulness of that.

But don't forget, you're leading by 8 points in the Elite Rankings over second place Marcus Henderson. So in terms of this, you're doing fine. Hell man, you're said to be the favorite to become the first EFW champion by just about every big time wrestling analyst there is.

Yeah, but you can't believe everything you read. Besides, there is a title I want more than that EFW strap right now.

You have got to be kidding me, that's the biggest prize in the business man!

Yeah, while it may be now, there was one title that I had a long time ago, and you've seen Jeremy flaunting it, teasing me with it, and that's the DHW Extreme Title. I want my belt, that I won, back.

What?!?!

Yeah man, straight up. Winning that title WAS the biggest victory in my career, I fought for thirty minutes, barbwire all around, and on me, to get that belt. It was the most brutal match that i've ever taken part in, and I never lost that championship. Jeremy says I don't know where I came from, oh I remember Greg. And now I want the trophy that I EARNED in my possession.

Dude, don't freak out about a defunct title belt...

I'm not freaking out whatsoever Greg, the fact of the matter is that while DHW may be long gone, that title belt still means something to me, and Jeremy knows that it does or else he wouldn't have even shown it to me. In fact, Greg, grab your camera, I have a little message to deliver to Jeremy.

*Greg exits the room and heads next door to his. He walks over to the corner and grabs his camera out of its bag. He walks out of the room and back into Dusty's, when he gets there Dusty is waiting, wearing the very first "Dusty J Mania" jersey that he had made, and sold by himself in DHW arenas. Dixson nods to Dusty and it is returned, then Dixson turns the camera on and focuses it on Dusty.*

Jeremy, there is something that I want from you more than anything else. Not your respect, not your head on a stick, but that DHW Extreme Championship Belt. I'm proposing this stipulation to our match at Rage. If I win, I get that Extreme Title Belt. Now, you may be asking yourself "What's in it for me?" well i'll tell you what's in it for you, whatever you want. That's right Nolin, you beat me, and i'll do anything you want. ANYTHING. I'll be your slave, i'll do your yardwork, i'll job on Rage for the next 20 weeks! It's all up to you. Me and you at Rage, all the marbles on the line. You'll learn who the real rookie is. Because nowadays, you're on my turf, and like the New England Patriots Jeremy, I don't lose at home, EVER.

*Dixson turns off the camera, looking at Dusty, who is now nodding to himself, ready for RAGE.*
