Jake Snypes. You're quite a character aren't you? You must think you're something real special huh? Hell, i'll give it to you Snypie, you're the EFW World Champion, kudos Snypes, kudos. But let me ask you something Jake, why on earth would you come down and do what you did to me? I was in mid match, and you came out with your life partner The Wolf and clocked me with the title belt, right in the face. And while you didn't know it at the time, that effectively cost me my Worlds Title match at Elite Heat. Wow. I bet you didn't expect that did you? Neither did I. I'm not going to say I respect you for the idea of softening up the competition before a big encounter, but I can certainly see why someone would, even though it isn't my flavor. But hey, now I guess I have that week off. Next week me and Greg are going bass fishing for Florida, have fun in your match. But seriously Jake, I know you're far too good to let Shawn Hunt get the better of you. I don't like you Snypes, but I know what you can do in the ring, and it doesn't take Frank A. Gotch to realize that you've got the tools of the trade, your attitude just sucks.
I heard what you had to say Jake, you said that you were tired of being overlooked by the fans, by the EFW staff, by the wrestling publications, by the boys in the back, hell Snypes, you're right on when you say "What does it all matter?" It doesn't matter what the people who aren't directly involved with the situation think, it's not about what your buddy Corey Morrison thinks, it's about what you think, and it's about what I know. I know what you're going through Snypes. I entered DHW, got on a hot streak, and only after beating the top wrestler in the company did I start getting some recognition, and you know what the difference between us is? Contrary to what Shawn Hunt might think about me, i'm not an egomaniac, at all. I don't care about the spotlight, I don't care about being in the main event show after show after show. I care about going out there and winning wrestling matches, being a good role model, and entertaining the people. Snypes, you're just like Shawn Hunt in the fact that you couldn't care less about the people. Normally I would say that someone like you doesn't deserve to be the World Champion, but Jake, you're good, you're damn good, and while you may despise the people in the audience, while you may despise all the boys in the back, they know that you deserve the title you're carrying right now.
Shawn Hunt, that leads me to you. You see, while you and Snypes both dislike the people who sign your checks, you aren't Jake Snypes. You aren't the World Champion, you haven't proven yourself here in EFW. Do you honestly think that beating me due to some controversial decision from a corrupt vice president gives you any bragging rights? No, it does not. You still are proving me right each and every week when I say that you're not the kind of guy that should be champion here. Snypes, you can vouch for me on this i'm sure when I say that Shawn Hunt doesn't deserve to be in the World Title picture because he hasn't proven a damned thing to convince me otherwise. You can talk about how you've traveled down the lonely road of faith, and let me rip off that stupid song that you're buddy Devastator uses and say that you've been down the boulevard of broken dreams before, but maybe it's simply because of something that not even you stopped to ponder for one solitary second. Maybe, just maybe Shawn, you are not that good.
Hunt, you talk about how i'm overhyped by the EFW brass, and you talk about how this company is run by "friends." You also say something to the tune of this is "just like every other company" you've been apart of. You could not be more wrong on both counts. Let me give you a pop quiz here, who is the EFW Champion? The answer is Jake Snypes. Now, tell me how many friends Jake Snypes has? One, Corey Morrison. Now, if this company is run by head hanchos who do their buddies a bunch of favors, how on earth is Jake Snypes the World Heavyweight Champion? I'll let you get back to me on that. We all have friends Hunt, I have the DHW, Snypes has Corey "The Wolf" and you have your UWF posse, which I don't think any of them have won a match yet..... so you think i'm buddy buddy and getting some sort of freakish push to the sky? Well Shawn, how did you get here in EFW? I think i've asked this before and gotten no response, so i'll ask again. Is it true that your boy the Devastator dragged you in on the leg of his that you were humping?
But something that both of you seem to forget about me is that i'm working twice as hard, training twice as long, because i'm pretty much twice as small. And along with my pride, i'm going to win something else in this match, the trust of those little guys in the crowd and at home. You see, you guys like to mock guys who try to be a good role model, but maybe, just maybe, it's because the guy that strives to be the best that he can be for those kids is a better person than you are, and perhaps there's some bitterness in the fact that the both of you never had that, and therefore don't want to be that. Mock me if you will, but if anything, i'm the underdog here. Snypes wants to fight for his manlihood, to prove he isn't underlooked, Shawn Hunt wants to fight to get his first LEGIT main event win here in EFW, and of course, for his oh so precious paycheck and recognition. Well guys, you can fight for yourselves on Rage, but let me tell you, i'm not coming alone. I'm coming with 17,845 strong backing me up. I'm definitely not favored to win it, but with that many people on your side, how can I not? It's time to show that bullies, Snypes, and cheaters, Hunt, never win. Never.
*Dusty continues gazing up at the ceiling, thinking about the match, the opponents, the kids, and how the NBA playoff picture is turning out. After all, that's what this triple threat is going to be like, the ultimate pressure cooker, three seeds, who can stand the heat? We'll see come Rage.*
